Book Review : Marie Kondo - The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying

I just got the time to write after so long. Yet, I need to find time to write rather than to wait for the time to arrive. Anyways, I would like to share the third book of September (it's nearly mid-October sistah!) It was the utmost Marie Kondo Book - The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying

For some people, even me myself never thought that tidying activity could even make a book! Obviously, Marie Kondo proves that tidying is a world's problem. Her love for tidiness and cleanliness had made a huge business run, especially in Japan. There are few take away from my reading,

Start by discarding your items

Discard all of the unnecessary items in your closet, cabinet, or wherever you keep your stuff. Don't let the habit of hoarding things to be your belongings. You need to learn to let go of the past and ready for the future.

Keep your items accordingly

Arrange your items following their type. For example, in a wardrobe, keep your t-shirt in the same area and not mix around with your socks or pants.

Appreciate your items

Never make your socks like a ball. It has been the whole day your socks protecting your feet, and being in the wardrobe is the only time for its to rest. Twirling it like a ball makes the thread stretched and it hurt. *I do not know whether MK can hear the socks screaming or not, but yeah, it does make sense anyway.

Say Thank You

Say thank you to all of your unnecessary items before you discard it. Say thank you to your current items because it helps you to get through the day. This is more to be grateful and conveying gratitude for everything that we have.

Spark joy

After all, just keep items that spark joy to your life. Even though the item was given by your beloved sayang, or your mom, or your sisters, but when you look at it, you're not using it and not even sparks any joy, JUST GET RID OF IT.

Let's start tidying our space and trying to reduce too much of buying new things *food tak apa hekhekhek. Clear space, clear mind. I bet there is more to talk about in this book, but maybe you guys can share your thoughts with me too.  That is all from me, Thank you!

P/S: Thank you Mr H for giving me the book!
