Penang; Training , Traveling , Eating

hi people!

first of all,
I wanted to praise dear Allah, for all the goodness He gave me, for all the bless upon me and all the people around me, Alhamdulillah :)

Alhamdulillah,
i've made my journey travelling to Penang- alone, to have a training about the basic bacteriology
=) in National Fish Health Institute (NaFisH)

I never thought that I can drive all the way through across a few states to get to Penang

*ijinkan patik berbahasa melayu, hukhuk.. dah lama tak nulih omputih, peliks lak ase nye ha..hahaha

oklah, Since aku bertolak dari Taiping, sebab ada kenduri kazen, so perjalanan was made easy =) from Taiping, terus follow signboard jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim, or jambatan kedua,
jambatan ni siyes panjanggg~~~, apa yang best, was dapat tengok lautan yang permai keliling pulau mutiara penang.

target place is Batu Maung, which situated few kilometres away from jambatan Sultan Abdul Hamid.

day one;
sampai je, aq rilek2 kat rumah k.Hawa ; she is one of my supervisor's friend who willingly to provide accommodation throughout my two weeks there, and also one of the officers in NaFish,
actually , takdelah rileks mana, tup tup kakak aq call ' iba, tolong amikkan handbag akak, tertinggal tadi time syok makan gulai kawah kat sungai dua.'
i was like ' what??' where on Earth that Sungai Dua and the kedai gulai situated =_=.
this was when i have to give up to technology, relying on GPS, damn!.
pusing punya pusing punya pusing...
maka tibalah patik ke tanah Sungai Dua yang terletak sebelum tol Sungai Dua menghala ke Alor Setar, Mid Gulai kawah... kedai tutup.. baru plan nak melantak sebab tak lunch lagi ..huaaaa.. takpelah, aku pun lepak makan kat kedai sebelah; kedai mee udang Sungai Dua.. rating mee? sedap!
ok dah aq malas nk nulis, sambung part 2

New Year 2022 Trip- Perlis

Dear lovely readers, It has been quite some time that I haven't write a thing in this space. Somewhat a 'hidden' gem. Anyways, I wanted to share on my recent visit to Perlis. Hopefully, this can help those who planned to have a nice weekend later on.  Alhamdulillah, me and my husband decided to make a trip to the smallest state in Malaysia celebrating the New Year 2022. Since the border is still open for the time being, it is certainly the best opportunity to grab before it closes back due to pandemic.  Why Perlis tho?  Perlis has been underrated for the past few years, as people might think that there's not much of fun things to explore there. Anyways, this state has grew a lot these recent years with so many attractions despite of the current pandemic. Okay, let's straight to what we have done in this Indera Kayangan state.  So we started our journey on Saturday, 1st January 2022 from Sungai Petani, Kedah. We chose Padang Besar as our first pit stop of the da...

What are you doing this weekend?

This question almost didn't exist ever since the COVID-19 emerged on this planet Earth.  Before, Many might have said- 'I'm planning to go for a hike!' 'Maybe a stroll at Ikea and grab the candles for stockpile' 'Run at the park and having good breakfast at Kampung Baru' 'Going back to hometown to visit my parents' 'Kenduri!' 'Go to the zoo, and grab a good lunch later' 'Have a good berendam moment at Sungai Congkak' 'Grab a coffee at the newly open coffee shop' 'Joining a marathon' 'Feed the homeless' 'Attending a craft class' 'Watching movies at cinema with good popcorn' 'I have a part time job, it's for my wedding expenses' 'Travel to Melaka for its kuih keria' 'I've found a good place to have a steamboat at Cameron Highland' 'Going to have a good snacking at Kota Bahru' 'My passport has been renewed, I've booked a ticket to Hong Ko...

Boulder Valley: Villa in the Jungle

If you are looking for an exquisite getaway, somewhere that so close to nature but not comprimising the comfort and fanciness, Boulder Valley is the answer.  It is situated at the valley in Teluk Bahang, surrounded by real jungle trees and plots of durian plantation, this hidden gem is not a dissapointment at all. Eventhough it is far from the city, but hey, the facilities is top notch! But to remind all of you, there will be no internet connection, yet wifi services is provided. However, the access is limited to only three devices. Let me share with you guys on our 3 days 2 nights experience stay here in Boulder Valley. We were sent via buggy to our room. The road was inclined and hilly. It is better to use the buggy since we have an infant. Plus, our baggage were a lot! Buggy really helped us. This is our room, Tented Villa. We have a verandah and located just in front of a swimming pool. Their minibar was almost complete and functional too. Im not using the microwave becau...
