PRKUPM2013

Siti Suhaiba binti Mastor, calon umum PRKUPM 2013

Seriously, pengalaman menjadi calon untuk Pilihan Raya Kampus memang menarik =).
Many people asked me, why you want to be the 'calon'?
i smiled =)
it is nothing more than i want to pursue my contribution in an organization, which is at the higher level,
but yet, the route is quite hard,
a few processes that we have to face before the Hari Pengundian berlangsung
started with pembelian borang pencalonan...

and me; the calon kawasan umum..=)

bersama bakal2 YB- sue n daya - hari pendaftaran
oh, pakaian macam budak sekolah tu untuk sesi penggambaran ea, =)

then, we have to get prepare for the hari penamaan calon,
Hari Penamaan Calon;  Pencadang (Ecah) and the Penyokong Pencadangan (Nik) kena ada sekali, as an approval
tag calon

on the next day, keputusan diberitahu as if you are layak or tak untuk bertanding
and my name was in the list =)

feeling? nervous meyhh

but the campaign tak boleh start lagi
after that
all the candidates must attend the kursus persediaan calon
UPM merupakan pelopor bagi sistem ni among all the universities in Malaysia

campaign can only be started at 10.30am 24 November 2013 until 12.01am 28 November 2013
tempoh berkempen adalah selama tiga hari, oh, sekejap je, tapi as the calon-lamaaanyaa rasanyaaaa~~

all the candidates were given opportunity to give speech, following the Kempen Tersusun provided by the Committee

jam 4.00pm, pengundian berakhir, all the candidates were quarantined at the Dewan Putra K13, for the Penjumlahan Undian session
*feeling;weird, tingtong, exhausted,'what am i doing here?', nervous

a pose with Sue, #penjumlahanUndi

*berdebar menanti keputusan.. ^^

like i said before, the e-undi punya sistem memang menarik, with one click, the server form each zone pengundian dipaparkan, keluarlah keputusan undian bagi setiap calon; fakulti dan umum

despite of the kekalahan, we were still able to smile =)

kami =)

Eventhough it is far from the city, but hey, the facilities is top notch! But to remind all of you, there will be no internet connection, yet wifi services is provided. However, the access is limited to only three devices. Let me share with you guys on our 3 days 2 nights experience stay here in Boulder Valley. We were sent via buggy to our room. Reading Corner: THE CAREER CODE

Finally, I've finished reading one of the book I've bought on my 30th birthday - THE CAREER CODE-. This book was written by Hillary Kerr & Katherine Power - the creators of WhoWhatWear.com.  The Career Code had explain so many tips and tricks, reality that actually happened especially in the corporate world. Something that won't be talked in your daily life with your colleagues but it is crucial! I have immersed in every bits of their writing and imagining myself in all of the situation explained. You may look at the content list through the photo below;  I know, the font were so smol, Let me help to list down all of the topics discussed in the book: 1. Find something you love to do, and then figure out a way to get paid for it 2. Your resume speaks before you do, so make sure it's articulate 3. Interview like a boss 4. Social media should help you, not hurt you 5. Dress for the job you want, not the job you have  6. When in Doubt, err on the side of formality and
