New Year 2022 Trip- Perlis

Dear lovely readers, It has been quite some time that I haven't write a thing in this space. Somewhat a 'hidden' gem. Anyways, I wanted to share on my recent visit to Perlis. Hopefully, this can help those who planned to have a nice weekend later on.  Alhamdulillah, me and my husband decided to make a trip to the smallest state in Malaysia celebrating the New Year 2022. Since the border is still open for the time being, it is certainly the best opportunity to grab before it closes back due to pandemic.  Why Perlis tho?  Perlis has been underrated for the past few years, as people might think that there's not much of fun things to explore there. Anyways, this state has grew a lot these recent years with so many attractions despite of the current pandemic. Okay, let's straight to what we have done in this Indera Kayangan state.  So we started our journey on Saturday, 1st January 2022 from Sungai Petani, Kedah. We chose Padang Besar as our first pit stop of the da...

2 days 1 night at Hotel Sentral Seaview Penang

It was quite last minute plan from my husband for us to have a stay at Hotel Sentral Seaview Penang. Thank God there was a room for the three of us to stay during the weekend. Of course, we made the booking through #booking.com - the process made easy and seamless.  This hotel is located at Tanjung Tokong, few kilometres away from the utmost Batu Feringhi. They provided a quite reasonable price for a family of three during weekend- and we were quite surprised too- it was including the breakfast buffet . And certainly an opportunity not to be missed!  So, long story short, let me share with you guys on the interior of the room provided.  This is the amenities area. Small fridge, iron with the board etc.  This is the room space. Quite spacious though. It's like a studio house and with balcony! Look at the view- so stunning , with the sound of waves- so calming. Amenities provided.  I like the bed- it was king sized bed and huge! Just enough for the three of us * t...

Boulder Valley: Villa in the Jungle

If you are looking for an exquisite getaway, somewhere that so close to nature but not comprimising the comfort and fanciness, Boulder Valley is the answer.  It is situated at the valley in Teluk Bahang, surrounded by real jungle trees and plots of durian plantation, this hidden gem is not a dissapointment at all. Eventhough it is far from the city, but hey, the facilities is top notch! But to remind all of you, there will be no internet connection, yet wifi services is provided. However, the access is limited to only three devices. Let me share with you guys on our 3 days 2 nights experience stay here in Boulder Valley. We were sent via buggy to our room. The road was inclined and hilly. It is better to use the buggy since we have an infant. Plus, our baggage were a lot! Buggy really helped us. This is our room, Tented Villa. We have a verandah and located just in front of a swimming pool. Their minibar was almost complete and functional too. Im not using the microwave becau...

What are you doing this weekend?

This question almost didn't exist ever since the COVID-19 emerged on this planet Earth.  Before, Many might have said- 'I'm planning to go for a hike!' 'Maybe a stroll at Ikea and grab the candles for stockpile' 'Run at the park and having good breakfast at Kampung Baru' 'Going back to hometown to visit my parents' 'Kenduri!' 'Go to the zoo, and grab a good lunch later' 'Have a good berendam moment at Sungai Congkak' 'Grab a coffee at the newly open coffee shop' 'Joining a marathon' 'Feed the homeless' 'Attending a craft class' 'Watching movies at cinema with good popcorn' 'I have a part time job, it's for my wedding expenses' 'Travel to Melaka for its kuih keria' 'I've found a good place to have a steamboat at Cameron Highland' 'Going to have a good snacking at Kota Bahru' 'My passport has been renewed, I've booked a ticket to Hong Ko...

Finally, I've finished reading one of the book I've bought on my 30th birthday - THE CAREER CODE-. This book was written by Hillary Kerr & Katherine Power - the creators of WhoWhatWear.com.  The Career Code had explain so many tips and tricks, reality that actually happened especially in the corporate world. Something that won't be talked in your daily life with your colleagues but it is crucial! I have immersed in every bits of their writing and imagining myself in all of the situation explained. You may look at the content list through the photo below;  I know, the font were so smol, Let me help to list down all of the topics discussed in the book: 1. Find something you love to do, and then figure out a way to get paid for it 2. Your resume speaks before you do, so make sure it's articulate 3. Interview like a boss 4. Social media should help you, not hurt you 5. Dress for the job you want, not the job you have  6. When in Doubt, err on the side of formality a...

11th Attempt and Failed

Today,  my placement company, Habib Jewels held a Blood Donation Day through Yayasan Habib. As for me, I am always keen to join a blood donation drive because I just love doing it. I am scared of the huge needle, with the size of a wooden stick pricked into the vein but the feeling after doing it is so damn priceless!  Previously, I have done blood donation for three successive times over ten times of trials. Oh no, it was eleventh * which is including today. Why am I so enthusiastic about blood donation? My ultimate aim is to show my devotion to my nation. I know I do not possess any high skills or to give tonnes of money back to the people. Through this blood donation, it is free and it helps many lives out there *you are the HERO man! Besides, there are lots of benefits after times of donation, such as the list below; Source: https://pdn.gov.my/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=16&Itemid=227  My aim is of course above 50 times of donat...

Book Review : Marie Kondo - The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying

I just got the time to write after so long. Yet, I need to find time to write rather than to wait for the time to arrive. Anyways, I would like to share the third book of September (it's nearly mid-October sistah!) It was the utmost Marie Kondo Book - The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying .  For some people, even me myself never thought that tidying activity could even make a book! Obviously, Marie Kondo proves that tidying is a world's problem. Her love for tidiness and cleanliness had made a huge business run, especially in Japan. There are few take away from my reading, Start by discarding your items  Discard all of the unnecessary items in your closet, cabinet, or wherever you keep your stuff. Don't let the habit of hoarding things to be your belongings. You need to learn to let go of the past and ready for the future.  Keep your items accordingly Arrange your items following their type. For example, in a wardrobe, keep your t-shirt in the same area and not mix around wi...

I don't need plastic bag

I don't need plastic bag and I am in Pahang. Last time , I went to the market to buy some stuff. Yet, this time I managed to bring my own eco shopping bag (after several times of failed bringing it together while shopping and causing me feel damn guilty towards the environment). When it's time to pay, I told the cashier that I don't need plastic bag. She looked at me and chuckled, 'it's okay kak, the price is including the plastic bags, ' 'no, it's okay, I don't need it, ' ' no kak, it's okay, I put in the plastic bag, ' Guessed what, inside I get boiled to the max. 'be patience ba, this is the beginning, it's never easy to manifest good things though,' You see, I don't mind about the few cents as long as I am trying and training very hard to reduce the anthropogenic effects towards the Mother Nature for hundreds of years to go. I don't mind about not being able to carry things, as long as the turtle won...

Cameron Highland

Cameron Highland able to give you an experience at living in the cold place after the four seasons countries. it might not that cold as we expected nowadays, but the coldness slowly creeping into the marrow when the night comes -I tell ya! this small district is about four hours away from Kuala la lumpur through PLUS highway (two hours on highway, and another two for jalan dalam, but if you drive like nuts, the time taken can be better, dont worry ;)), and if you wanted a better route - wider, can be said as safer; choose EXIT Simpang Pulai, which is about 60 km away from EXIT Tapah (steeper, creepier, but shorter distance taken) From Simpang Pulai you gonna meet Brichang first. in Brinchang, i am suggesting you guys to stop by, taking lotsa photos with blooming flowers and refreshing view of lavenders in CAMERON LAVENDER GARDEN. the fees for adult is rm10/pax (quite expensive tho, but o k laaaa since the flowers are just damn nice!). there is also a cafe nearby who sells nasi ...

Why I love to hike

Why I love to hike? It is a kind of… I-don’t-know-how-to-answer question. Mom asked me previously, “ape yang seronok sangat panjat bukit ni semua? Tak penat ke?” Okay, hmmm… she gave me a spark of bursting questions to myself, why ah? Why? Oh why? Ive started joining to this activity after facing so-called heartbreaking moment in my love life, hey, thanks cause made me enjoying hiking until today. It was a kind of releasing activity which always hit the adrenaline rush button, yes, every time and it was full of satisfaction. Hiking? Indeed a very tiring activity, but it is very good in boosting self-motivation and building characters. You see, the hills, the mountains, you need to make steps in order to reach the top, thus, all the way to the summit, there are challenges rumbling onto you. Exciting at the starting point and cannot wait to reach the top, however, full of regrets during ascending the hills, you gonna hear villains wailing in your ears  ’why im doing all th...

Histology: Part 1

I am amazed of learning histology since my Final Year Project period. Talking about my FYP moment, it was a stage where i feel like i am actually learning something! like seriously! it was a stage where i have to be independent in finding the source of my project, being deeply knowledgeable about it, getting immerse into the world of darkness and unknown which i have to light up a torch to see the end. thus, being extremely responsible is the biggest part of it. Back to the topic, Histology. what is histology? why i'm getting so fascinated by this thang? here i wanna share with you guys.  histology is a kind of method in order to help us (the researchers) to understand further on how a damage or any kind of disturbance occur at the tissues and cells level. for example, you or other person suffering of organ

True friend?

Assalamualaikum... hi! kind of busy lately... but my fingers screaming out loud wanted to have a dance on the keyboard. Tidak setuju pula? aku tanyakan balik kepada kalian, how true is your true friend and how true you are treating your friend?

His Rahmah

Failed in previous relationship makes me think twice for another one. I once doomed abruptly on the ground, drowned into the world of sorrow and sadness. Lost and long for something which I don’t know what that was. Sometimes I hit the panic button, and keep panicking non-stop. After all, I was tired. My heart torn and my mind blurred, my body felt damn lethargic and my feet wobbly like jelly every time I tried to stand up. It was such a terrible moment of my life. Despite of all the ordeals, I am gracious for the existence of a bunch of generous friends around. Hands lend for me to grab on, and made me stand up on my own. Wisdom words are always spoken from their heart and kept me alive. After shading the tears that blocking my heart, after building my heart with pieces of hard diamond, after standing my feet straight and able to run, I realized that Allah the Almighty was sending His message throughout of all these messes. He misses me. He misses my prayer begging for Hi...

BUKIT BATU CHONDONG

View? very nice ^_^.
