What are you doing this weekend?

This question almost didn't exist ever since the COVID-19 emerged on this planet Earth.

Before,

Many might have said-

'I'm planning to go for a hike!'

'Maybe a stroll at Ikea and grab the candles for stockpile'

'Run at the park and having good breakfast at Kampung Baru'

'Going back to hometown to visit my parents'

'Kenduri!'

'Go to the zoo, and grab a good lunch later'

'Have a good berendam moment at Sungai Congkak'

'Grab a coffee at the newly open coffee shop'

'Joining a marathon'

'Feed the homeless'

'Attending a craft class'

'Watching movies at cinema with good popcorn'

'I have a part time job, it's for my wedding expenses'

'Travel to Melaka for its kuih keria'

'I've found a good place to have a steamboat at Cameron Highland'

'Going to have a good snacking at Kota Bahru'

'My passport has been renewed, I've booked a ticket to Hong Kong for its Disneyland'

'My friends come over, I'm going to cook pilau beef'

'I got my side gig, hey, come and visit our website!'

and so forth.

I can't list even from my own, because they are just so many!

but nowadays, It's kind of strange when someone popped up a question,

'What are you doing this weekend?'

to those physical activities enthusiast like me, most probably saying - nothing-

ha ha

for me as an outdoor person, I did those immobile activities- reading, watching movies, etc, but it is still a 'nothing' .

shifting self to be an indoor person, was totally one of the hardest thing to do. It's like you remove the carapace of a turtle and let it live by itself then.

Alhamdulillah, through time, I am able to enjoy the solitude and still trying to cope with what to do next-

New Year 2022 Trip- Perlis

Dear lovely readers, It has been quite some time that I haven't write a thing in this space. Somewhat a 'hidden' gem. Anyways, I wanted to share on my recent visit to Perlis. Hopefully, this can help those who planned to have a nice weekend later on.  Alhamdulillah, me and my husband decided to make a trip to the smallest state in Malaysia celebrating the New Year 2022. Since the border is still open for the time being, it is certainly the best opportunity to grab before it closes back due to pandemic.  Why Perlis tho?  Perlis has been underrated for the past few years, as people might think that there's not much of fun things to explore there. Anyways, this state has grew a lot these recent years with so many attractions despite of the current pandemic. Okay, let's straight to what we have done in this Indera Kayangan state.  So we started our journey on Saturday, 1st January 2022 from Sungai Petani, Kedah. We chose Padang Besar as our first pit stop of the da...

I don't need plastic bag

I don't need plastic bag and I am in Pahang. Last time , I went to the market to buy some stuff. Yet, this time I managed to bring my own eco shopping bag (after several times of failed bringing it together while shopping and causing me feel damn guilty towards the environment). When it's time to pay, I told the cashier that I don't need plastic bag. She looked at me and chuckled, 'it's okay kak, the price is including the plastic bags, ' 'no, it's okay, I don't need it, ' ' no kak, it's okay, I put in the plastic bag, ' Guessed what, inside I get boiled to the max. 'be patience ba, this is the beginning, it's never easy to manifest good things though,' You see, I don't mind about the few cents as long as I am trying and training very hard to reduce the anthropogenic effects towards the Mother Nature for hundreds of years to go. I don't mind about not being able to carry things, as long as the turtle won...
